Marina + Jeremy's Gorge Engagement

Marina and Jeremy’s favorite outdoor activity includes sharing backpacking trips and finding swimming holes around the PNW. They chose the backdrop of the Columbia River Gorge for their engagement shoot.

The Columbia River Gorge National is the 7th longest river in the US. It is over 1,200 miles long. The average width of the river is a mile long. In 1986, President Ronald Reagan established the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area . This scenic area was established to protect and enhance the scenery, as well as the natural, cultural, and recreational resources of the Columbia River Gorge; and to protect and support the economy of the area. There are 13 state parks in the scenic area and over 53 waterfalls between the Oregon and Washington side combined. Also, another fun fact, the Columbia River begins in British Columbia, Canada…which I did not know! Many stunning areas to capture beautiful photos.
