I wanted to share some highlights and favorite parts of a September road trip through Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Though it was a short visit, a lot of beautiful scenery was packed in. I wanted to share photos and top highlights from a trip through of two of America’s gems. Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park was an impromptu trip during trying times, but has helped my soul feel a little lighter and little happier. Stay safe and well everyone!

As a dog mom myself, it always hurts my heart to know that one-day these beautiful souls leave this planet. But they leave each one of us with memories, ones that we will hold in our hearts fur-ever and ever.

Read MoreI can’t think of anything better than spending the longest day of the year exploring the backcountry of the Three Sisters Wilderness on the Obsidian Trail. The trail is around 12 miles out and back and 2,000 feet in elevation gain. . It is always a treat to check out new areas of the Pacific Crest Trail. I had great company and stunning scenery all around, and even introduced a surf friend to her first backpacking experience!
